A bad week for Twitter just got even worse. The service has apparently been infected by a worm originating from the owners of
A 17-year-old youth from Brooklyn, New York, has admitted that he was the author of the StalkDaily cross-site scripting attack that hit Twitter
Kevin NALTS “I like to garden. But I never eat the stuff I grow, I just watch it.”
Network World is reporting a new Twitter virus has been making the rounds today. At best the virus will auto-tweet this message:
Twitter got hit with a little security incident this afternoon we’ll call the “StalkDaily Worm”. I have no clue if the StalkDaily site was actually associated with the worm
StalkDaily is a free service, like Twitter, except more advanced with pictures and videos.
Twitter users beware: a site called StalkDaily (don’t visit it, please) has been infecting Twitter profiles today with a spam
Infected users begin to repeatedly spam tweets directing users to the StalkDaily website. StalkDaily is a website designed to infect computers that visit it.
Saturday morning the StalkDaily Worm infiltrated Twitter infecting twitter accounts that would in return post bogus tweets that would entice the twitter community to visit the
